The Lawyer's Break is a daily break for people who work with law, opening soon. Before it opens, this site does one thing: it lets you save a seat for the launch. These Terms apply to the site at thelawyersbreak.com and to the seat you save. When the product opens, you will be asked to accept the Terms that apply to it; these do not bind you to anything beyond what is written here.
You save a seat by giving an email address and, if you wish, a name, your role and the areas of law you work in. In return you receive a Legal Eagle number. It is yours when the product opens, and it is never given to anyone else. Numbers 0001 to 0100 are Founding Eagle numbers and are shown as such. A seat is free, carries no obligation, and can be given up at any time by writing to support@thelawyersbreak.com.
One person, one seat. Seats saved with made-up or someone else's addresses, or by automated means, may be removed without notice.
An invitation to the launch, sent to the address you gave, and your number. Nothing else is promised: not a launch date, not a feature, not a place in any ranking.
Nothing on this site is legal advice. When the product opens it will offer short challenges built on official legal sources; those are a break, not advice, and will say so. This is not legal advice. It is a break.
The Lawyer's Break name, the texts, the design and the software of this site are protected by intellectual property law. You may share links to the site. You may not copy the site or its design.
If you write to us through "Partner with us", you confirm that you may speak for the organisation you name. Nothing is agreed until it is agreed in writing.
The site may change or be taken down. It is provided free of charge and as it is. Nothing here excludes a responsibility that cannot be excluded by law; subject to that, no responsibility is accepted for loss arising from reliance on the site.
